"......why do i even have this anymore?"

Ash was hovering over a desk staring at the pistol in his hands with a look of hatred, when he became the master the league had insisted that he carry a sidearm if he was ever attacked, they got him a permit and he was officially allowed to use his pistol in self defense.

Ash however had never fired the gun, he had earned his reputation as the master by always countering a opponents moves and sometimes using said moves against them. Not only that but his unorthodox style of battling had allowed him to sweep the masters league making those who might try for his pokemon less tempted, and add the fact that Pikachu never left Ash's side only discouraged bad guys even more.

"What are you holding Ash?"

Ash spun around hiding the weapon in an open drawer to see Brock looking at him.

"Oh just a mento, let's get back to the party!"

Ash then walked out of the room leaving Brock in the doorway, Brock however walked to the desk and opened the drawer to see the pistol, this didn't surprise him as he had heard of previous masters being kidnapped and held for ransom because they didn't have any real protection.

Brock closed the door and left the room heading back to the pool area. Back in the pool area May and Dawn were having a contest battle using Piplup and Wartortle, he then noticed Ash sitting near the front along with Misty and Iris.

Iris was conflicted, Georgio's suggestion got her to thinking that subduction might just work with Ash, but she was still very conflicted about doing it. Iris then noticed Georgio sitting in a seat two rows above them, he seemed genuinely interested in the battle.

Iris then inched closer to Ash and tapped his shoulder

"Hey Ash can i talk to you for a second?"

Ash gave her a look but got up and followed her into the hallway, Georgio took notice of this and moved down and sat with Misty just as a bubblebeam and bubble attack collided and created a sparkling rain over the pool.

"Quite beautiful huh?"

"Yes very."

Misty seemed to be turning the slightest shade of red and Georgio gave a smirk.

"I should really thank Ketchum for this little get together. He is a really nice guy right?"

"Yeah...he is."

Misty turned her head away from him to hide her blush from him.

"Georgio...can i ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Well...i REALLY like Ash and...i wanna tell him but."

Georgio found it hard not to have his smirk get any bigger at this point.

"Why don't you just tell him? he went down the hallway a second ago."

"Ok but can you come with me?"

"Sure."

In the hall...

Iris led Ash to a door to a guest room, at this point her mind was in overdrive thinking of all sorts of scenarios that might happen between her and Ash.

"Uhh Iris whats up?"

Iris then turned to to Ash and grabbed his face, pulling his lips onto hers. Ash was nothing less then shocked and without hesitation pushed Iris away.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Iris looked at Ash to see his face full of shock, confusion and a multitude of other emotions, but before she could respond she noticed Misty standing behind Ash frozen in place with a look very similar to Ash. Ash could tell but the look on Iris's face that he had been busted and he slowly turned his head to see Misty standing frozen in place with Georgio watching from behind her.

"Mi...mi...Misty?"

Looking at her Ash could see her expression was changing from shock to anger quickly.

"Misty, i can explain-"

"ASH YOU BASTARD!!!"

"Misty please wait just listen to me!"

"GET AWAY FROM ME! I HATE YOU! I DON'T WANNA SEE YOU EVER AGAIN!!!"

With that Misty shoved Georgio out of her way and stormed off. Ash stood in shock then turned on Iris.

"WHAT THE HELL IRIS?!"

Iris backed off looking at the furious expression on his face, she had only ever seen this face when he became very angry. Ash however bolted down the hallway leaving Iris and Georgio behind with Georgio grinning.

Ash caught up with Misty who was in a fast walk and grabbed her arm.

"LET ME GO!!"

"Misty listen to me! it's not what you think!"

"AND HOW COULD IT NOT BE?! YOU WERE KISSING IRIS!!!"

"She kissed me Misty listen i don't care for her like that!"

"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!"

Ash then grabbed Misty's shoulders and turned her to him.

"Misty The whole reason i put this damn party together was so i could tell you i love you!"

Misty however was sure that Ash was lying and had been playing her from the start, she had seen how close Iris got to him and he spent much of his free time talking to Iris. He wasn't about to make a fool of her.

"Sure then what? you sleep with me and break my heart after sleeping with her? you may have thought i loved you but i don't! i wish you would go DIE!!!"

Ash looked at her in utter shock, had there been a heart monitor around he was sure it would say he was flat-lining. Misty then pushed Ash's arms off her and stormed off leaving Ash frozen. At the corner of the hall behind Ash, Brock had heard the commotion from the pool area and came to see what happened.

"Ash would never do that to her, what happened?"
